This is a traditional Nigerian carved vessel for a Babalawo; Oluwo and Iyanifa to rest their Ikin; Opele and other implements on their divining table to be stored inside.

Inside are 4 compartments to keep the tools separated as chose. The lid has the most beautiful carvings on it. Each unique.
They arrive in their natural state (unfinished) and we do offer staining yours for you if you chose. (Some people like to do theirs themselves)
Typically they are 18” in diameter… with primitive style carving.
